This Part-B shall contain 40 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) a candidate shall be required to answer any 35 questions. Each question shall be of two marks. The total marks allocated to this section shall be 70 out of 200.

So, around 13-15 bits in Section-B usually appear from organic chemistry which is mainly from 10+2 NCERT Chemistry textbooks and also from undergraduate level books. Similarly, part-C shall contain 60 questions a candidate shall be required to answer any 25 questions. Each question shall be of four marks. CSIR NET Exam Pattern 2020:

NTA has released the CSIR NET Exam Pattern for all the five subjects. Candidates will have to pick any one subject and apply for the same. The CSIR UGC NET exam pattern and marking scheme are different for all the subjects.

CSIR NET question paper for each subject is divided into three parts namely, Part A, Part B, Part C.

  • All three sections are compulsory.
  • There will be no break between the three sections.
