To score well in biology, the first step is, reading the NCERT biology textbooks.

Mark the keywords and new terms. After you’ve finished reading a lesson, close the book and see how much you can recall. Then solved the MCQs related to that topic. I would personally recommend *NCERT at fingertips* published by *MTG*. It’ll cover all the possible questions and concepts. Mark the questions for which you marked the wrong answers/didn’t know the answer to.

Now after a week. Re-revise the lesson and go back to the MCQs which you answered incorrectly and try solving them again! This way of studying has helped me a lot. For the lessons on morphology and anatomy in flowering plants, make *mnemonics* to memorize the names. Also, write down the names besides the diagram figure of each anatomical type. This will help you memorize things using your *picturesque memory*.

Remember that in NEET the weightage of questions from the *Botany and Genetics* related chapters is more as compared to zoology. So study those topics thoroughly. Study all the MCQs from ecology. I have observed that most of the questions asked in the exams are not covered in NCERT. So you’ll need to study by memorizing the answers to the questions given in MTG (for Ecology!)

The pattern of questions is repeated in the NEET examination. So make sure you solve the previous year’s question papers. It’ll give you an insight into how questions will be framed and asked. And it will also boost your confidence.

Lastly, don’t worry too much. And don’t try to study eveything right before the exams. Just take a look at the questions which you had marked and also the key words which you had marked while studying.

Also, don’t forget that almost everyone studies biology very well so to up your total score you need to practice physics and chemistry well too!

  1. I am curious to find out what blog system you’re using? I’m experiencing some minor security issues with my latest website and I would like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any suggestions?
